Blessed Sacrament School is a premier Catholic Elementary School serving Pre-K through Grade 5, in Albany, NY. Founded in 1916, by the Sisters of Mercy. We are a proud participant of the Dioceses of Albany Catholic Schools and accredited by Cognia.

Our enriching Early Childhood education program is designed to meet the cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of each child. We offer full and half day  Pre-Kindergarten programs. Full-time teachers and aides are available to your students to ensure their learning success.  Our students participate in Technology, Art, Spanish, Music and Gym classes along with a rigorous academic program.

Our experienced teachers develop literacy through all of the core subjects — Math, English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.  Our teachers follow the New York State Common Core learning standards to ensure your child is receiving the best education possible.  Smartboards, Chromebooks, Tablets, and iPads are available to all teachers and students to enhance your child’s learning. All students receive an email address to allow them access to the full suite of Google tools, including Google Classroom.  Students also participate in Spanish, Music, Art, Library, Technology, and Gym classes on a weekly basis.
